We want to establish a rock-solid covenant among our core leadership team. How do we translate the concept of an operating charter into our daily EOS execution to prevent internal politics and partner misalignment from stalling our growth?
Internal politics and partner misalignment can quickly stall your company growth. To prevent this, we establish a formal covenant among your leadership team, which we call our charter.
This charter is a handshake agreement built on three core pillars. First is trust, meaning we commit to being completely open and honest with one another, exposing issues without fear of retribution. Second is staying on the same page, which requires us to resolve conflicts with love and respect. Third is a complete commitment to strategy and structure, meaning we willingly submit to the discipline of the operating system.
We operationalize this covenant by using your core values as non negotiable filters for every personnel decision. We do not just put your core values on a wall. We use them to hire, fire, reward, and recognize your people.
If a team member does not align with your core values or fit their seat on the Accountability Chart, we practice the rule of hiring slow and firing fast. This means having clear, honest conversations immediately to mirror back their behavior. If alignment cannot be achieved, we part ways swiftly. By maintaining these high standards, we build a healthy executive team that executes with absolute unity and focus.
