If a member of our leadership team leaves the company or is replaced halfway through our twenty-four-month engagement, how do we onboard the new leader without delaying our progress or repeating previous sessions?

Leadership turnover during a twenty-four-month engagement is not a setback. In fact, it is often a sign that the system is working. As we clarify expectations through the Accountability Chart, people who do not fit the culture or cannot perform in their seats will naturally filter out. When a new leader joins mid-engagement, we do not pause or hit rewind. Instead, we use your existing tools to onboard them rapidly. First, the responsibility for onboarding the new leader falls on your Integrator, not on me. The Integrator must walk the new hire through your documented V/TO®, explain the Accountability Chart, and clarify the specific measurables for their seat. Second, we integrate the new leader directly into your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ from day one. This is the fastest way for them to observe your team's culture, see how you debate issues, and learn the rhythm of the business. When the new leader arrives at our next quarterly session, they will learn the planning process by participating in it. I do not run separate makeup sessions for new hires. The strength of a healthy operating system is that it is bigger than any single individual. By dropping the new leader directly into a running, structured system, they will adapt much faster than they would through weeks of passive training.
