Ask your leadership team to focus on these specific pain points rather than looking for cool technology to buy. When a manager proposes an AI solution, do not ask them how the technology works. Instead, ask them which seat on the Accountability Chart will own the tool, how it will improve our weekly scorecard numbers, and how they plan to measure its performance. By focusing on the GWC framework, which stands for Get It, Want It, and Capacity to Do It, you can evaluate if your team is actually ready to implement the tool. Let your Integrator and department heads manage the technical details while you maintain a laser focus on your V/TO and long term business goals. Your job is to keep the team grounded in reality, ensuring that every AI project serves the business plan rather than distracting from it.
