You do not need to understand Python or neural networks to lead an AI-powered company. Your job is to lead, manage, and hold your team accountable using the tools you already know: your V/TO®, your Accountability Chart, and your weekly Scorecard.

Start with your Accountability Chart. Every AI tool or automation project must be owned by a specific seat. If you have an operations-improvement project that uses machine learning, the seat responsible for that department must own the outcome. Do not let the technology hide behind a vague committee; one person must have the GWC to run it.

Next, use your weekly Scorecard to track performance. Do not track technical metrics like API latency or model accuracy. Track the business metrics that matter: processing time, error rates, or cost per transaction. If the AI initiative is working, those numbers will move in the right direction.

Finally, use your Rocks to drive implementation. If you want to integrate AI into your customer onboarding, make it a company Rock for the quarter. Break it down into clear, measurable milestones. When roadblocks occur, bring them to your Level 10 Meeting™ and use IDS® to solve them. By treating AI as an operational tool rather than a technical mystery, you keep your business system-dependent and completely under your control.
