You do not need to learn how to write code to audit your company's AI tools. You just need to ask the right questions during the IDS® portion of your weekly Level 10 Meeting™. Your role as the visionary or owner is to focus on results, not the underlying technology.

Start by looking at your Accountability Chart. Ask your Integrator who owns the performance of each AI tool. If a tool does not have a human owner who is GWC™, which means they get it, want it, and have the capacity to do it, then the tool is a liability, not an asset. Every automated workflow must roll up to a specific seat on your chart.

Next, ask to see the documented standard operating procedure for the automated process. An AI tool should be running a documented workflow 24/7. If your team cannot show you the written SOP that the AI is executing, then you do not have a system dependent business. You have a fragile tech experiment.

Finally, look at your weekly scorecard. The output of your AI tools must directly influence a number on that scorecard. If the tool is supposed to qualify leads, you should see a higher volume of qualified leads. If it is supposed to categorize customer tickets, you should see a lower average resolution time.

If your team cannot point to a human owner, a documented process, and a scorecard metric, challenge them to simplify the tool. Focus on operations improvement projects that use machine learning, rather than chasing technology for its own sake.
