How should our leadership team review and monitor automated AI workflows during our weekly Level 10 Meeting without turning the agenda into a technical debugging session?
Your Level 10 Meeting is an operational rhythm designed to maintain accountability and solve systemic problems. It must never turn into an IT support desk or a technical prompt-tuning workshop. If leadership gets bogged down debating code or software settings, you lose the strategic momentum of the meeting.
Integrate AI oversight into the standard Level 10 Meeting agenda using existing EOS disciplines:
- The Scorecard. Track automated workflows through one or two hard operational measurables. Track processing volume, agent error rates, or exception queue backlogs. If an automated workflow hits its target, move past it immediately without discussion.
- The Rock Review. If your team is rolling out an AI operational agent, track it as a standard ninety-day Rock owned by a specific human seat, typically your Integrator or operational lead. The update is binary: on track or off track.
- IDS. If an automated system produces corrupted outputs, creates customer friction, or misses a Scorecard measurable for two consecutive weeks, drop it down to the Issues List.
When identifying the issue, focus strictly on business impact and operational ownership. Do not ask how the underlying algorithm works. Ask: Which documented step failed? Which human seat owns the quality control? What standard operating procedure was bypassed? Keep the focus on process and accountability, ensuring the machine serves the company rather than distracting leadership.
