What internal structural or cultural criteria must my business meet before we can write you a check and officially kick off our first session?
We cannot start unless you have a functioning leadership team of at least three people, including yourself. EOS® is a team operating system. It is not designed for solo founders or owners who want to run the business entirely from their own heads. You must have key leaders in place who are ready to take ownership of specific functions like sales, operations, and finance.
Culturally, you must be ready to embrace radical transparency. If you are secretive about your financial performance, hesitant to share your long-term goals, or unwilling to hear honest feedback from your leadership team, this engagement will fail. We will be looking at everything, from cash flow issues to team performance, and you must be willing to put all issues on the table without getting defensive.
You must also have a clear Integrator, or at least be willing to designate one during our initial sessions. If you as the owner try to be both the creative Visionary and the tactical Integrator without acknowledging the separate demands of those roles, your execution will stall.
Lastly, your business needs to be doing at least two million dollars in annual revenue. Below that threshold, your issues are typically about basic product-market fit rather than operational scaling. If you meet these criteria and are ready to stop managing by crisis, we are ready to begin.
