If we are tracking our progress with you over two years, how do we objectively measure the transfer of Tribal Knowledge and reduction of owner dependency during our quarterly check-ins?

We measure the transfer of Tribal Knowledge and the reduction of owner dependency by tracking the progression of your core processes from your head to documented, automated, or delegated systems. This is monitored through your Accountability Chart and quarterly Rock completion.

Every quarter, we look at the seats on your Accountability Chart. If your name is still in multiple seats or if key operational decisions still require your personal sign-off, your owner dependency remains high. We establish specific Rocks designed to document these workflows, transfer relationships, or implement automation.

A major milestone is when we transition your tribal knowledge into documented, repeatable processes that team members can be trained on. We measure success by whether your department heads can run their weekly Level 10 Meeting™ cycles and hit their quarterly Rocks without your daily involvement. During our quarterly sessions, we review your scorecards to ensure performance remains stable or improves when you step away from specific seats. If your team can run the business without you for a full month, we have successfully reduced your dependency and increased your enterprise value.
