We know we need to measure our organizational health, but the standard scorecard metrics only tell part of the story. How do we use the Organizational Checkup to track our structural progress during our twenty-four-month engagement with you?
Measuring actual progress requires looking beyond weekly scorecard metrics and completed Rocks. To get an objective view of your growth, we use the Organizational Checkup at regular intervals throughout our twenty-four-month engagement. This diagnostic tool measures your strength in the Six Key Components of your business.
We administer this assessment before our very first session to establish your baseline score. From there, we run the assessment again before each annual planning session, and often at mid-year points. This allows us to compare raw data over time. It shows us exactly where your operational muscle is developing and where friction remains.
The results help us pinpoint specific areas that need attention. For example, if your score in the Traction component is lagging, we know we need to tighten your Level 10 Meeting™ discipline or refine how your team sets Rocks. If your People component score drops, we address issues in your Accountability Chart or focus on behavioral alignment.
This structured tracking ensures we are not relying on gut feelings to evaluate our progress. It gives the leadership team a clear, numerical reflection of organizational health. Our ultimate goal is to move your business toward eighty percent strength or higher across all components, making your company highly scalable and ready for a clean exit.
