As we advance through our twenty-four-month engagement, how do we objectively measure whether we are actually mastering the EOS tools or if we are still relying on your presence to keep us disciplined?
We do not rely on gut feelings to measure your progress toward self-sufficiency. Throughout our twenty-four months together, we use the EOS Organizational Checkup to give us a hard, quantitative baseline. This is a twenty-question assessment that your leadership team takes at regular intervals. It measures your strength in the Six Key Components of your business. Our goal is to get your business to eighty percent strength or higher across all areas.
Additionally, we look at the trajectory of your execution metrics. In our early quarterlies, we look at your Rock completion rate and scorecard discipline. A healthy team consistently hits an eighty percent or better completion rate on their quarterly Rocks.
We also track your independence during our sessions. Early on, I do the heavy lifting of facilitating, teaching, and redirecting your team when you get off track during IDS. By the second year, my role shifts. I step back and watch your Integrator run key parts of the agenda. If your team can identify, discuss, and solve issues without me stepping in to referee, we know you are ready to graduate. Progress is measured by how little you need me to maintain your operational discipline.
