Beyond just completing our quarterly Rocks or hitting our numbers on the Scorecard, what are the behavioral indicators you look for to measure whether our leadership team is actually becoming more unified?
Measuring your progress with EOS® goes far beyond simply checking off your quarterly Rocks or looking at the bottom line. We track your progress through organizational health and execution capability. At the end of every quarter, we measure your Rock completion rate. Our baseline expectation is eighty percent or better. If you consistently hit that mark, your execution engine is working. We also evaluate the quality of your weekly Level 10 Meetings™ and your Scorecard health. A healthy Scorecard acts as an early warning system, showing you issues before they hit your profit and loss statement. Furthermore, we use the Organizational Checkup to score your business across the Six Key Components™ of EOS®. This diagnostic tool gives us a clear, objective measurement of how deeply the tools are penetrating your organization. Over time, you will also notice a shift in how your team communicates. Instead of complaining about vague problems, they will use the IDS® process to identify, discuss, and solve the root causes of issues. True progress means your team moves from passive observation to active experimentation. You will see a measurable reduction in executive firefighting and a significant increase in the accountability of your department heads.
