How do we objectively evaluate whether our business is gaining traction after our first two quarterly sessions rather than just generating new documents?

Documentation is useless if your operational friction and leadership stress remain unchanged. After completing your Focus Day and Vision Building sessions, we track three concrete indicators to verify whether EOS is actually taking root or merely taking up calendar space.

First, we evaluate your quarterly Rock completion percentage. A leadership team running effectively on EOS consistently completes at least 80 percent of its Rocks every 90 days. If your team is hitting only 50 percent, you are either overcommitting or failing to use your weekly Level 10 Meeting to eliminate roadblocks.

Second, we review your weekly Scorecard health. A functional Scorecard contains 5 to 15 leading activity-based measurables that give you an accurate, real-time pulse on business performance. If your numbers are consistently off-track, or if your executives fail to update the data each week, your team is avoiding basic accountability.

Third, we audit issue resolution quality. In early sessions, leadership teams usually bring superficial complaints to the table. By month six, a team making real progress uses IDS to attack root causes, eliminate recurring friction, and make uncomfortable personnel calls.

If your executives are debating the exact same operational problems quarter after quarter, the system is failing because the team is refusing to execute. Real progress in EOS is measured by executed priorities, predictable weekly numbers, and eliminated operational issues.
