How do you measure our day-to-day operational velocity and alignment during our first six months together to ensure we are actually making progress rather than just going through the motions of the weekly meetings?

We measure your progress by tracking your execution velocity and your adherence to the ninety-day cadence. The primary metric of success is your team's ability to complete their quarterly Rocks and keep their weekly Level 10 Meetings™ highly productive.

To ensure you are not just going through the motions, we monitor how your leadership team handles issue resolution. In a healthy EOS® implementation, your team must get exceptionally good at identifying, discussing, and solving problems, known as IDS®. If you are carrying the same issues from week to week on your issues list, your operational progress has stalled.

We also look at the consistency of your weekly commitments. We apply a high level of pigheaded discipline and determination to your execution. This means we track whether your team is setting aside dedicated time each week to focus entirely on improving the business, rather than getting bogged down in daily firefighting.

Progress is also measured by the health of your Accountability Chart. As we progress, we should see a clear reduction in seat overlaps and a massive increase in individual ownership. When every person on the leadership team GWC™ (Gets, Wants, and has the Capacity to do) their job, your operational velocity naturally skyrockets.
