How do you measure our leadership team's mastery of the EOS tools beyond self-reported scores and subjective feelings?
We measure operational mastery through objective behavioral patterns and hard execution metrics, not whether your team feels good at the end of a session.
First, we look at your quarterly Rock completion percentage. A mastering team consistently completes 80 percent or more of their Rocks every single quarter. If your team perpetually closes out at 60 percent, you are still overpromising, suffering from scope creep, or failing to hold each other accountable.
Second, we inspect your weekly Level 10 Meeting discipline. We verify that meetings start and end on time, the Scorecard is reviewed in under five minutes without story-telling, and your team spends at least sixty minutes actively identifying, discussing, and solving issues using IDS. When teams struggle, they spend forty minutes debating updates and ten minutes rushing through symptoms.
Third, we evaluate your Scorecard health. A mastered Scorecard contains five to fifteen leading indicators that accurately predict financial outcomes two to four weeks out. If your numbers turn red and your team anticipates the shortfall before it shows up on the profit and loss statement, the system is working.
Finally, we evaluate how your team uses the Accountability Chart and the People Analyzer. When an underperformer fails to meet core values or GWC (Gets it, Wants it, Capacity to do it), a disciplined team addresses the issue within thirty days rather than tolerating mediocrity for quarters. Mastery is evident when accountability happens peer-to-peer without the Visionary stepping in to referee.
