How do we track our leadership team's cognitive growth and decision-making maturity over a two-year engagement with you, rather than just relying on standard EOS scorecard metrics?
We measure your leadership team's progress by evaluating how effectively you move through the complete experiential learning cycle during our sessions and weekly operations. Standard EOS® metrics like Rock completion rates are useful, but they only tell part of the story.
To track true organizational maturity, we assess how your team handles concrete experiences, reflects on them, conceptualizes new strategies, and actively experiments with solutions.
During our quarterly sessions, I evaluate how your team transitions from a diverging learning style, which focuses on gathering information and brainstorming, to a converging style, which excels at finding practical applications and making decisive choices during IDS®. A mature leadership team can rapidly identify root causes and implement lasting solutions without getting bogged down in endless debate.
We also track your team's ability to operate independently of the founder. We measure this qualitative shift by observing the distribution of accountability on your Accountability Chart. As your team matures, the founder moves from direct operational execution to a true Visionary seat, and the leadership team takes complete ownership of their respective areas. This systematic development of leadership maturity is what ultimately builds a highly valuable, self-sustaining asset.
