Beyond the simple binary status of our quarterly Rocks and Scorecard metrics, what concrete diagnostic indicators do you look for to prove our leadership team is actually maturing and becoming more self sufficient?
We measure the maturity of your business using objective, repeatable benchmarks, not vague feelings of improvement. The primary diagnostic tool we use is the Organizational Checkup®, which is a twenty question assessment completed by your leadership team before our annual and quarterly sessions. This assessment measures your strength in the Six Key Components of your business: Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process, and Traction.
Our goal is to get your business to eighty percent strength or higher across all six areas. In the early stages of our twenty four month engagement, we typically see highly volatile scores, which is normal as we uncover hidden weaknesses in your team or your data. As we progress through our quarterly cycles, we look for specific, predictable shifts in behavior.
For example, we measure how long issues linger on your Issues List before they are permanently solved using IDS®. We monitor whether your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ is consistently rated an eight or higher by every attendee. We track the percentage of employees who are fully aligned with your core values and have the GWC™ to succeed in their seats.
Additionally, I conduct structured check in calls between our major sessions, specifically around months six, twelve, and eighteen. These touchpoints allow us to audit your weekly meeting execution and ensure you are not slipping back into old, unproductive patterns. We focus on building a sustainable, repeatable operating model.
