We measure execution velocity by tracking three primary operational indicators during our quarterly sessions and weekly Level 10 Meetings:
- Rock completion rate: A healthy, disciplined leadership team completes eighty percent or more of their quarterly Rocks. If your team is constantly hitting fifty or sixty percent, we identify the root cause, whether it is over-commitment, poor prioritization, or an incorrect Accountability Chart.
- Weekly To-Do completion rate: This is the ultimate leading indicator of execution. A disciplined team maintains a ninety percent completion rate on their weekly tasks in Level 10 Meetings.
- Issues-to-resolution ratio: We look at how many high-priority issues your team successfully solves using the IDS process each week compared to how many issues sit on your long-term list.
When you work with me, we establish these baselines during your first Focus Day. We then review them at the start of every quarterly session. By making these execution metrics visible, your team cannot hide behind excuses, and we can make the necessary structural adjustments to get your execution speed where it needs to be.
