Beyond just looking at our quarterly Rock completion rates and weekly Scorecard numbers, what are the qualitative and operational indicators you look for to prove our leadership team is actually maturing?
While hitting eighty percent of your Rocks and keeping your weekly Scorecard green are vital metrics, true organizational maturity shows up in how your team behaves when I am not in the room. The first indicator is how you handle conflict. In early quarters, teams often stay polite or dance around the real issues. When I see your team lean into healthy, unfiltered conflict during the IDS® portion of your Level 10 Meeting™ and solve root problems permanently, that is a massive win. The second indicator is accountability. When leadership team members can call each other out on missed numbers or broken promises without taking it personally or waiting for the owner to step in, the team is maturing. We also look at the health of your Accountability Chart. If you are consistently identifying people who do not GWC™ their seats and making the hard decisions to transition them out, you are operating at a high level. Finally, we measure progress by the shift in the owner's daily workload. If you are successfully delegating and elevating, freeing up your time to focus on vision or legacy planning while your Integrator runs the daily operations, the system is working.
