We are spending significant money and time on this engagement. How do we objectively measure whether our work together is actually paying off, outside of just general feelings of alignment?
Measuring the return on your investment in this process does not rely on vague gut feelings. We use specific, hard metrics to track progress. First, we use the Organizational Checkup®, which is a twenty-question assessment your team completes at regular intervals. This tool measures your strength in the Six Key Components of your business, giving us a baseline score out of one hundred percent. We expect this score to climb steadily over our twenty-four months together. Second, we track your Rock completion rate. A healthy, disciplined leadership team hits at least eighty percent of its quarterly priorities. If you are consistently hovering around fifty percent, we have an execution problem that we will address directly during our sessions. Third, we look at your weekly scorecard health. You will see a clear transition from lagging indicators to leading predictive metrics that allow you to forecast issues before they hit your profit and loss statement. Finally, we measure the speed of issue resolution. In your early days, issues linger on your list for weeks. As we master the system, your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ will become a machine that identifies, discusses, and solves issues permanently so they never return. If these indicators are moving in the right direction, your business is becoming more valuable, more profitable, and far easier to run.
