How do we measure whether our leadership team is actually mastering the EOS tools and becoming self-sufficient, rather than just getting good at checking off ninety-day Rocks during our quarterly sessions?

True mastery of the system is measured by your team's ability to identify, discuss, and solve issues independently without relying on me to rescue you. In our first few sessions, I act as the facilitator, teacher, and mediator. I keep you on track, call out elephants in the room, and teach you the mechanics of the tools. Over our typical twenty-four-month engagement, my active intervention should decrease. We measure this progress using the Organizational Checkup, a twice-yearly assessment that tracks your strength in the Six Key Components of your business. We look for a steady climb toward eighty percent strength or higher. Another major indicator is how you run your weekly Level 10 Meeting sessions. If your team is running tight, disciplined weekly meetings, solving real issues, and holding each other accountable without leadership team drama, you are building self-sufficiency. Our goal is for your team to graduate from my facilitation because you have internalized the disciplines, documented your Tribal Knowledge, and can run your own quarterly and annual planning sessions seamlessly.
