How do we measure whether the rest of our company is genuinely adopting EOS tools after the leadership team rolls them out, rather than just playing along?

Adoption across your organization cannot be measured by employee sentiment surveys or compliance checkboxes. You measure rollout success through four specific operational indicators across your departments.

First, observe weekly departmental Level 10 Meetings. If managers are running sixty-minute meetings that end on time, review measurables without debate, and spend forty minutes resolving actual root causes using IDS®, the system is working. If meetings turn into ninety-minute status recaps with vague action items, your managers do not understand the tools.

Second, track departmental Rock completion. At the leadership level, you target eighty percent or higher completion every ninety days. The exact same metric applies to front-line teams. If your departments consistently land below eighty percent, priorities are poorly defined or the Accountability Chart is bloated with unclear ownership.

Third, audit the Scorecard measurables. Every individual in your company must have at least one weekly measurable number that dictates whether they had a productive week. If an employee cannot articulate their weekly number or tells you they only review it at month end, you have not rolled out the tools effectively.

Finally, listen to the language used during daily conflicts. Healthy rollout means employees use common vocabulary: identifying Right Person, Right Seat issues using GWC™, calling out open issues instead of gossiping, and referencing documented core processes. When your front-line managers solve their own operational bottlenecks without escalating them to the executive team, you have achieved genuine traction.
