We are utilizing several fractional executives in our marketing and technology seats. How do we map these fractional resources on our Accountability Chart and hold them to the same EOS standards as full time leaders?

A fractional executive must be treated exactly like a full time leader on your Accountability Chart. If they own a seat on your leadership team, they must fully own the accountability, the metrics, and the Rocks associated with that seat. Do not create a separate, diluted set of rules for fractional players. When you design your Accountability Chart, define the seat clearly with its five major roles. The fractional executive must GWC that seat. They must truly want the seat, understand the capacity and requirements, and have the capability to deliver on those five roles during their contracted hours. They must also participate in your weekly Level 10 Meetings, own their weekly Scorecard numbers, and complete their quarterly Rocks. If a fractional executive resists this level of accountability or claims they do not have the time to participate in the EOS cadence, they are not the right fit for your scaling business. Holding them to these standards ensures that your leadership team remains unified, healthy, and aligned, preventing any execution gaps that could hurt your operations or stall your preparation for an exit.
