Our Visionary constantly brings new, unvetted ideas and immediate crises into our weekly Level 10 Meeting™, which completely derails our prioritized Issues List and prevents us from solving our actual operational bottlenecks. How do we manage this without shutting down their entrepreneurial drive?

The creative energy of a Visionary is a massive asset for growth, but when it is unleashed undisciplined inside a weekly Level 10 Meeting™, it creates operational whiplash and stalls execution. The weekly meeting must remain a sacred space for solving the company's current, prioritized operational bottlenecks.

To protect your meeting flow, enforce a strict rule that no new issues can be discussed during IDS® unless they have been properly added to the Issues List ahead of time. When the Visionary introduces a brand-new idea or a sudden priority, the Integrator must immediately ask if it is a true, week-one emergency.

If it is not an emergency, the Integrator must move it to the long-term Issues List on the V/TO® or table it for the next quarterly session. This keeps the weekly meeting focused on execution while giving the Visionary's ideas a structured place to be evaluated later.

Additionally, the Visionary and Integrator should have a weekly Same Page Meeting™ to align and discuss these ideas before they ever reach the leadership team. This filter allows the Integrator to vet new concepts privately, protecting the rest of the leadership team from operational distractions and ensuring that only highly relevant, prepared issues reach the Level 10 Meeting™ table.
