Our Visionary is a high Quickstart on the Kolbe A™ Index who wants to pivot our entire product roadmap based on the latest AI breakthrough they read about this weekend. How do we use our weekly Same Page meeting to evaluate these concepts without killing their creative drive?

It is a Visionary's job to look to the future and spot opportunities. However, when a Visionary has a high Quickstart score on the Kolbe A™ Index, their natural instinct is to implement every new AI tool immediately. This creates severe whiplash for the Integrator and stalls your actual strategic plan.

To manage this dynamic without killing your Visionary's creative drive, you must leverage your weekly Same Page meeting. This is a private, locked-door meeting between the Visionary and the Integrator designed to align their focus.

The Integrator must act as the operational filter. When the Visionary brings a new AI idea, do not immediately reject it, and do not immediately agree to implement it. Instead, park the idea on your V/TO® Issues list.

During your quarterly planning sessions, you can evaluate these parked ideas against your 1-Year Plan and your 3-Year Picture. Ask if the new technology accelerates your existing Rocks or if it is simply a distraction.

This structure allows the Visionary to express their ideas while protecting the rest of the leadership team from constant disruptions. It ensures that your organization only implements AI tools that support your core strategic goals rather than chasing every shiny new piece of software.
