Extending the meeting is never an option. A Level 10 Meeting is a hard ninety-minute time box, and violating that boundary destroys the integrity of the meeting pulse. If you start extending the meeting, your team will lose respect for the schedule and disengage. To handle unresolved issues, you must use the final five minutes for a disciplined wrap-up. For the issues left on the list, the leadership team must make a rapid, collective decision on how to handle them. You have three choices. First, if an issue is truly urgent and cannot wait seven days, schedule a separate, highly focused working session during the week with only the necessary people. Do not drag the entire leadership team into it. Second, if the issue is important but not an emergency, leave it on the short-term Issues List to be prioritized at the top of next week's meeting. Third, if the issue is a long-term strategic question, move it to your long-term Issues List on the V/TO to be addressed during your next quarterly planning session. Maintaining this absolute time boundary shows operational maturity and ensures your weekly execution engine remains efficient and predictable.
