Personality clashes during the scorecard review are usually a result of cognitive and conative misalignment. A high Quick Start naturally wants to focus on future opportunities and hates wading through columns of historical numbers. A high Fact Finder instinctively wants to dig into the background of every data point to understand why it happened.

To bridge this gap during your Level 10 Meeting™, you must establish and enforce strict operational boundaries. Use a physical or digital layout that displays only the current week's numbers, the target, and the previous four weeks of trends. This prevents the Fact Finder from scrolling back through months of data and getting lost in historical analysis.

Implement a hard time limit of five minutes for the scorecard review. The rule must be simple: read the metric, state whether it is on or off track, and move to the next. Absolutely no storytelling or analysis is allowed during the review.

If a number is red, it is dropped to the Issues List immediately without discussion. This protects the Quick Start from losing momentum and becoming frustrated by administrative details. The actual diagnostic work and problem-solving happen later during the IDS® portion of the meeting, where the Fact Finder can leverage their analytical strengths to help the team resolve the root cause of the issue.
