We have identified several low-value administrative tasks that we can automate using AI, but we want to make sure we actually reallocate that saved capacity to high-value strategic work. How do we manage this transition on our Accountability Chart?
When you automate low-value administrative tasks, you will inevitably free up a significant amount of employee capacity. To capture the financial benefits of this efficiency, you must proactively manage this transition on your Accountability Chart.
Start by reviewing the seats that are affected by the new automation. If forty percent of a team member's daily tasks are now handled by an AI assistant, you must redefine their five major roles on the Accountability Chart. Do not let them fill that newly freed capacity with slow, low-value work. Instead, reallocate their time to high-value, strategic tasks that require human empathy and problem-solving, such as proactive client relationship management or business development.
Once the roles are updated, you must evaluate if the current seat holders still GWC™ the updated positions. This means confirming that they truly get, want, and have the capacity to perform these higher-level responsibilities. Managing this transition ensures that your AI investments result in higher output per employee and stronger profit margins, rather than just creating idle time.
