We want to run AI-powered operations and have automated our Level 10 Meeting™ scorecard with real-time dashboards, but now our weekly meetings are bogged down by leaders questioning the live data feed or attempting to troubleshoot the data pipeline on the fly. How do we keep our automated scorecard clean and focus on the numbers rather than the technology?
Running AI-powered operations can dramatically streamline your business, but automating your Level 10 Meeting™ Scorecard can introduce a major point of friction if not managed correctly. When leaders spend meeting time questioning the data pipeline, debating API connections, or trying to troubleshoot dashboard glitches, you have completely lost control of the agenda.
Your Scorecard is a tool for driving accountability and spotting trends, not a technical sandbox. To solve this, establish a strict rule: the numbers on the Scorecard are accepted as reality during the meeting. If a leader believes a metric is incorrect due to a technical error, they must report the number as it appears and immediately add data integrity to the Issues List.
Do not allow live debugging or data investigation during the five-minute Scorecard review. The technical issue must be resolved offline or handled during the IDS® portion of the meeting, where you can systematically identify the root cause of the data discrepancy.
Additionally, assign clear ownership on the Accountability Chart for your data infrastructure. The person responsible for your AI systems and dashboards must ensure the data is refreshed and accurate before the meeting starts. If the tech is constantly failing, that itself is an issue that must be addressed, but never at the expense of your weekly meeting pulse.
