As we integrate AI tools into our daily business operations, our Level 10 Meeting™ Issues List is suddenly flooded with highly technical questions about software prompts, APIs, and automation bugs that most of the leadership team does not understand. How do we keep our L10 focused on high-level operational impact without getting bogged down in technical AI execution details?

Integrating AI into your business operations is a powerful move, but it can easily ruin your Level 10 Meeting™ if you allow highly technical execution details to dominate the Issues List. Your leadership team L10 is designed for high-level operational alignment, not for debugging code or writing software prompts.

To prevent technical clutter, you must enforce a strict filter on what issues get raised to the leadership level. Before an AI-related issue is added to the list, the owner of that issue must ask whether it is a strategic business problem or a tactical execution task.

If an AI tool is failing to deliver the expected efficiency, that is a strategic issue because it impacts your Scorecard metrics or your Rocks. That belongs on the list. However, if the issue is that a specific prompt needs to be tweaked or an API key needs to be updated, that is a tactical task. It must be handled outside of the meeting by the technical lead.

If a technical issue does make it to the list, the facilitator must keep the IDS® discussion focused on the business impact, not the technical 'how'. Ask questions like:

- What is the operational bottleneck this failure is causing?
- Who on the team has the GWC™ to solve this outside of this room?
- What is the deadline for the fix?

Once you agree on who will own the resolution, capture a clear weekly to-do and move on. Do not allow your leaders to turn your L10 into an ad-hoc IT support session.
