We are scaling rapidly and restructuring our Accountability Chart™, moving people into new seats almost every quarter. How do we maintain the integrity and continuity of our weekly EOS® Scorecard when the owners of our core metrics are constantly changing?

When your company is scaling rapidly and seats on your Accountability Chart™ are changing frequently, scorecard continuity is often lost. To prevent this, you must treat your weekly EOS® Scorecard metrics as properties of the seat, not the individual.

When you build your Accountability Chart™, every seat must have its specific measurables defined. If you move your top salesperson into the Sales Manager seat, they do not take their personal outbound call metrics with them. Those metrics stay with the Sales Representative seat, and the manager inherits the high-level management metrics, like team closing rates.

To maintain data integrity during a transition, use a formal handoff process. The departing seat holder must document the data collection process and train the incoming team member on how to track and report the number.

The Integrator must ensure that every new hire or promoted team member clearly understands the metrics they own and how those metrics impact the company. By anchoring your weekly numbers directly to the seats on your Accountability Chart™ rather than the personalities of your team, you preserve your data-driven culture and maintain operational control through any period of rapid growth.
