Our weekly Level 10 Meeting stalls out the moment we reach the Issues List because the team wastes fifteen minutes debating which issue to tackle first. How do we streamline issue prioritization so we get into IDS without blowing our ninety-minute limit?

The fastest way to blow past ninety minutes in a Level 10 Meeting is to debate what to discuss. Teams often spend fifteen minutes negotiating the agenda. They treat every issue on the list as an equal priority, or worse, they start from the top and work down sequentially. That is a recipe for running out of time before addressing the business-critical obstacles.

Prioritization should take ninety seconds. The Integrator or meeting facilitator simply scans the list and asks the room for the top three issues that must be solved today. You only pick numbers one, two, and three. Nothing else matters until those three are completely solved using IDS.

Follow this direct protocol:
- Never work the list chronologically; the order in which an issue was added has zero relationship to its operational impact.
- The Integrator asks the leadership team to vote on the top three items based purely on immediate risk or leverage.
- If there is disagreement between two issues, the Integrator makes the executive call instantly, and the team moves directly into the first issue.

Once issue number one is solved and converted into clear To-Dos, move to number two. If you spend the entire sixty minutes of IDS on just one massive, existential constraint, that is a successful meeting. You do not need to clear the list. You only need to solve the highest-priority issues permanently.
