Our Integrator is running out of steam trying to facilitate our Level 10 Meeting™ every single week while keeping the team aligned and on time. Is it ever acceptable to rotate the facilitator role, or must the Integrator own this meeting forever?

Facilitating a Level 10 Meeting™ requires a high level of energy, focus, and structural discipline. It is common for an Integrator to experience burnout after months of managing the agenda, pushing the team through IDS®, and keeping the meeting strictly on time.

However, rotating the facilitator role among different team members to relieve this pressure is a mistake. The Integrator is the logical owner of the weekly operational pulse on the Accountability Chart. If you pass the facilitator role around like a hot potato, you will quickly lose consistency, structure, and accountability.

Instead of rotating the role, you must address the root cause of the burnout. Often, facilitator fatigue is caused by a lack of support or a team that refuses to self-regulate.

If the team is constantly drifting off-topic, arriving late, or failing to prepare, the Integrator has to work twice as hard to maintain order. The leadership team must step up and take responsibility for their own discipline in the room.

Additionally, look for ways to streamline the administrative load. Use modern tools or automated AI workflows to handle the tracking of To-Dos and scorecard metrics. This allows your Integrator to focus their energy purely on active facilitation, ensuring the weekly pulse remains a powerful engine rather than an exhausting chore.
