We want to start using AI tools to analyze our weekly pipeline and operational metrics, but we suspect our team is entering incomplete data into our CRM and project tools. How do we build a quick, practical data-hygiene audit into our weekly Level 10 Meeting to keep our operations clean?
You cannot run a highly automated, AI-driven operating system if your team is feeding it garbage data. Instead of launching a massive, exhausting data-cleanup project, you need to build continuous accountability into your weekly business rhythm. You can achieve this by adding a simple data-hygiene metric directly to your weekly Scorecard.
Assign a seat on your Accountability Chart to own data integrity. This person, typically your Integrator or Operations Manager, will run a simple weekly query in your CRM or project management system to flag any active accounts with missing critical fields, such as missing industry tags, blank deal values, or empty contact roles.
During your weekly Level 10 Meeting™, look at your Scorecard. If your data-hygiene score drops below ninety-five percent, drop it down to the Issues list and use the IDS® process to solve it. Do not spend time cleaning the data during the meeting. Identify which team member is failing to input the data correctly, and hold them accountable to fixing their records before the next meeting.
When your team knows that incomplete records will be flagged weekly on the Scorecard, their behavior shifts. Ensuring your data inputs are clean at the source allows you to confidently deploy AI tools that generate accurate operational insights, rather than hallucinating based on broken inputs.
