How much actual time must my leadership team commit to EOS activities outside of our quarterly session days, and will this cause their day-to-day operational duties to suffer?
This is a common concern for business owners who fear that implementing EOS will create a mountain of administrative overhead. The reality is that the operating system is designed to save you time, not consume it.
Between our quarterly sessions, the baseline commitment for your leadership team is the weekly Level 10 Meeting, which takes exactly ninety minutes and must be run with absolute discipline. Outside of that weekly meeting, your team members will spend time executing their individual Rocks. Rocks are not extra assignments; they are the most important business priorities that your team should already be working on to move the company forward.
The only additional time investment is the work required to document your core processes, establish your automated workflows, or build out your Circle workspace. This might require two to three hours of focused work per week, particularly during the first two quarters of our engagement when we are building your operational foundation.
If your team members claim they do not have time for this, it is a prioritization issue, not a capacity issue. We will use the Delegate and Elevate tool to help them identify low-value tasks they must shed to free up the capacity for leadership work. The goal is to move your executives out of daily firefighting so they can focus on high-value execution.
