We are eager to begin this process with you, but we want to make sure we have the right team structure in place first. What are the non-negotiable leadership team requirements regarding commitment, size, and decision-making authority we must meet before you will agree to facilitate our Focus Day?

Before we sit down for your Focus Day, your leadership team must meet several non-negotiable structural and behavioral requirements. This process is designed for a leadership team, which typically consists of three to seven key leaders who run the major functions of the business. If you have too many people in the room, discussions stall. If you have too few, you lack the diverse perspectives needed to solve complex operational issues. Every participant must possess the decision-making authority to run their department and commit resources. We cannot have a room where people constantly need to check with an outside stakeholder before agreeing to a path forward. Additionally, every member must be willing to be completely open and honest. This means leaving egos at the door and preparing to have uncomfortable conversations about performance, structure, and accountability. You do not need perfect financials or a flawless business model to start. However, you must have a functioning leadership team that is fully committed to the process. If you are currently in the middle of a major partner dispute or lack a clear operator in the Integrator seat, we need to address those fundamental gaps before we begin our journey.
