What kind of mental and behavioral preparation do you expect from our leadership team before we walk into our very first session with you?
Before we step into our first session, your leadership team must prepare for complete transparency. There are no technical prerequisites, but there is a strict psychological fee to enter. You must be willing to expose weaknesses, admit mistakes, and let go of personal fiefdoms.
Your team must arrive with the expectation that we are going to look at the hard truth of your business. This means agreeing beforehand to speak with absolute candor, even when it is uncomfortable. If anyone on the team relies on politeness to avoid conflict, that habit must be left at the door.
You must also commit to leaving your ego aside. Implementing EOS® requires a willingness to redefine seats, reexamine roles, and potentially realize that long-term team members do not have the capacity to do their jobs.
Lastly, you need to prepare for intense focus. We will spend a full day in a room together without laptops, phones, or external distractions. Your team must notify their departments that they will be completely offline. If your leaders cannot commit to being fully present for eight hours without checking emails, your implementation will fail before we even begin.
