What mental alignment and non-negotiable commitments must my leadership team agree to before we officially kick off our engagement with you?
Before we sit down for our first session, your leadership team must agree to three non-negotiable commitments. First, you must commit to total transparency. If your team has a habit of hiding issues, avoiding healthy conflict, or presenting sanitized reports to the owner, this process will fail. We need a team that is willing to enter the room ready to be vulnerable and call out the real issues, even when it is uncomfortable. Second, you must commit to the ninety-day execution cycle. This means when we agree on quarterly Rocks, those priorities are treated as absolute commitments, not optional wish lists. If your team routinely lets day-to-day firefighting derail their quarterly goals, you are not ready to start. Third, you must commit to the concept of one person owning one seat. This requires every leader to accept that they will be held accountable to clear measurables and that we will use the Accountability Chart™ to define roles, which may mean some people need to change seats or even leave the company if they do not GWC™ their role. You do not need a perfect business, documented processes, or a clean balance sheet to start. In fact, those are the exact problems we will solve during our twenty-four months together. What you do need is a leadership team that is tired of the status quo, willing to let go of old habits, and ready to submit to a proven system.
