What cultural covenant or mindset baseline must our leadership team agree to before we even sign the contract to work with you?
Before our first session, your leadership team must agree to a foundational covenant. In our practice, we call this the charter. It is built on three non-negotiable pillars: trust, being on the same page, and saying yes to strategy and structure.
Trust means every member of the team must be willing to be open and honest. There is no room for politics, hidden agendas, or passive-aggressive behavior. Being on the same page requires a level of mutual respect where we can disagree passionately during sessions, but walk out of the room completely aligned on the final decision. Saying yes to strategy and structure means everyone commits to the discipline of the EOS® framework.
You must also adopt a help first and grow or die mindset. We will be making difficult decisions about your Accountability Chart and your people. If a team member does not have the capacity or core value alignment to help the business reach its next level, we must address it immediately. If your team is not ready to embrace this level of radical transparency and accountability, then we are not a fit. We only work with ownership groups that are fully committed to doing the hard work required to scale and prepare for a clean exit.
