We are busy running our daily business operations and have very little spare time. What are the non-negotiable preparation and follow-up homework expectations you require from our leadership team to make our quarterly sessions with you successful?

To get the maximum return on your investment, your leadership team must commit to a small but non-negotiable amount of preparation and follow-up work. Before each quarterly session, every team member must complete a high-level review of their individual performance, prepare an honest assessment of their completed and incomplete Rocks, and submit their potential issues for our IDS® list. We do not want to spend the first two hours of our session day catching up on basic data.

The follow-up expectation is even more critical. Within the first week after our session, your team must cascade the new quarterly Rocks and any updates to the Accountability Chart down to the rest of the organization. You must also maintain the discipline of your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ to keep your Rocks on track. While we keep the homework as lean as possible, this work is not an addition to your job, it is your job as a leader. By investing a few hours in structured preparation and disciplined follow-up, you save hundreds of hours of wasted operational effort throughout the quarter.
