Our operations director and sales VP stay completely silent during tough Level 10 Meeting debates, but the moment the meeting ends, they huddle in the hallway or send private Slack messages critiquing the decisions. How do we kill these post-meeting parking lot discussions and force them to speak up during the actual meeting?

This is death to trust and execution. When leaders stay silent during a Level 10 Meeting™ only to lobby, complain, or dissect decisions privately afterward, they are actively undermining the leadership team's unity. This behavior must be called out immediately and directly. To break this habit, the Integrator must establish a zero-tolerance policy for parking lot meetings. During the next Level 10 Meeting™, before you transition to IDS®, make a firm ground rule: if you do not voice your objection or perspective during this ninety minutes, you forfeit your right to complain about the outcome later. Silence equals agreement. When a decision is reached, do a quick whip-around the room. Ask each person specifically if they can actively support this decision outside of this room. Do not accept a passive nod. Force a verbal yes or no. If someone says yes but is caught gossiping or complaining later, it becomes an immediate conversation about core values and their GWC™ fit for the seat. You must also use your meeting ratings to police this. If you discover a post-meeting alignment issue, the rating for that meeting should retroactively be dropped to a one. Remind the team that a clean exit requires a leadership team that is completely aligned and capable of independent, transparent decision-making. No buyer wants to acquire a business where passive-aggressive resistance slows down operations.
