Our Visionary was excited about EOS® at first, but now that the business is stabilized and running on a predictable quarterly cycle, they are getting bored and trying to bypass our Level 10 Meeting™ structure. How do we keep a high-energy founder engaged in the operating system long-term?

Visionaries are wired for creation and chaos, not for routine. Once your EOS® implementation makes the business predictable and stable, your Visionary will naturally get bored. They will start skipping the weekly Level 10 Meeting™, ignoring the scorecard, and trying to bypass the Integrator to initiate new, unvetted projects.

To keep your Visionary engaged, do not try to force them into a rigid managerial box. That will only build resentment. Instead, the Integrator must redirect the Visionary's high Quick Start energy toward their natural strengths.

Keep them focused on the big picture. Ensure they are spending their time on:

- Nurturing key industry relationships and big clients.
- Researching future market trends and new product development.
- Championing the company culture and long-term vision.

The Integrator must protect the weekly meeting structure but also give the Visionary an outlet. Set up a regular Same-Page Meeting between the Visionary and Integrator. This is where the Visionary can pitch wild ideas without disrupting the leadership team.

The Integrator filters these ideas, decides which ones align with the V/TO®, and schedules them for future quarterly planning sessions. Keep your Visionary out of daily execution, feed their need for forward-looking innovation, and let them be the external face of your growing organization.
