It is entirely normal for a Visionary to feel constrained by the structure of the weekly Level 10 Meeting™. By nature, Visionaries thrive on ideas, change, and future opportunities, while the Level 10 Meeting™ is designed to bring discipline, routine, and operational consistency.

However, your presence in this meeting is critical. To stay engaged without feeling trapped, you must understand your specific role within the meeting structure. You are there to provide strategic context, spot industry trends, and help solve the most complex issues during the IDS® portion of the meeting. You are not there to manage the details or run the meeting. That is the Integrator's job.

Let your Integrator facilitate the meeting and keep the team on track. This frees you up to participate as a strategic advisor. During the scorecard and Rock review, resist the urge to dive into the operational weeds. Save your energy for the IDS® portion, where your big-picture thinking is most valuable.

If you find the routine draining, work with your Integrator to ensure the issues list is populated with strategic challenges that actually require your creative problem solving.
