What is the exact purpose of the scheduled Just Checking In calls between our quarterly sessions, and what data do we review together during them?
Just Checking In calls are targeted, thirty-to-sixty-minute checkpoints conducted mid-quarter between our full-day sessions. Their sole purpose is to audit your operational rhythm, catch implementation drift before it compounds, and ensure your team is maintaining accountability in the wild.
These calls are held with the Visionary and Integrator, or occasionally the full leadership team. We do not use this time for strategic planning or executive coaching. Instead, we perform a rapid diagnostic on your weekly execution. We review three primary items:
- Your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ health: Are meetings starting on time, rating an eight or higher, and dedicating a full sixty minutes to IDS®?
- Your Rock progress: Are individual Rocks currently on track or off track, and are off-track Rocks being moved to the weekly Issues List?
- Your Scorecard performance: Are key leading indicators producing weekly measurable results, or are red numbers being ignored?
We also address friction around newly introduced EOS® tools. For instance, if your team introduced the People Analyzer or Scorecard cascading down to middle management and hit departmental resistance, we troubleshoot the rollout mechanics.
These calls provide structured accountability between quarters. When leadership teams know their execution cadence will be inspected halfway through the ninety-day cycle, they stay disciplined with their weekly rhythms. It prevents teams from cramming three months of operational homework into the final week before our next quarterly session.
