What exact structure do you follow during our mid-quarter Just Checking In calls, and how should our Integrator prepare for that touchpoint?
Between our full-day quarterly sessions, momentum can occasionally waver under the weight of daily operational firefighting. To keep execution sharp, we conduct a structured Just Checking In call at the midpoint of the quarter, typically around the forty-five-day mark.
This call lasts fifteen to thirty minutes and is conducted directly with your Integrator, or with both the Visionary and Integrator. It is not an ad hoc coaching call or a strategic working session. Its sole purpose is to audit your operational pulse and spot drift before it compounds into missed quarterly commitments.
Before jumping on the line, your Integrator should prepare by reviewing three operational checkpoints:
- Rock completion status, specifically identifying which Rocks are currently off track and verifying whether corrective action is actively underway in weekly meetings.
- Scorecard trends, noting any measurables that have missed their target for three consecutive weeks and ensuring those numbers are dropped down to the Issues List.
- Level 10 Meeting™ health, evaluating whether departmental teams are meeting weekly, maintaining high ratings, and actually solving root causes during IDS®.
I use this call to hold your Integrator accountable to the disciplines established in the session room. If your cadence is slipping or an issue is stalling the team, we address it immediately so you enter the next quarterly session with completed Rocks rather than excuses.
