Integrating artificial intelligence into your business is a powerful way to accelerate operations, but it must be done within the boundaries of your EOS® framework. The biggest risk is that your leadership team gets distracted by shiny new software and over-complicates your existing systems, which violates the core principle of keeping things simple.

The safest place to leverage AI is within your documentation of core processes. Many companies struggle with the Followed by All step because documenting processes is tedious and time-consuming. You can use AI tools to quickly draft the first version of your processes by transcribing recorded video walkthroughs or summarizing existing handbooks.

However, the ownership of these processes must remain firmly on your Accountability Chart. An AI tool can draft a process, but a human leader who GWCs the seat must own, simplify, and maintain that process. AI should be treated as a resource that supports a seat, not as a replacement for human accountability.

Additionally, any new AI initiatives should be processed through your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ and V/TO®. Do not allow individual departments to adopt random AI tools without evaluating them against your overall technology strategy and core values. By maintaining strict control over how these tools are introduced, you protect the simplicity of your operating system while still capturing the efficiency gains of modern technology.
