Since you help owners build AI-powered operations, how do we introduce automation discussions into our quarterly IDS list without violating the core EOS process?

We introduce AI and automation discussions only when they serve as direct solutions to real business issues. We do not use our quarterly sessions to brainstorm new technology or chase shiny tools. That would distract from the core work of running the business.

Instead, we treat automation as a problem-solving tool. During the IDS portion of our session, we identify bottlenecks in your processes, capacity issues on your Accountability Chart, or recurring errors in your daily operations. Once we have clearly identified the root cause of the issue, we discuss whether AI or automation is the right solution.

For example, if your client onboarding process is slow and prone to errors, we might create a Rock to automate that specific workflow using AI. The Rock would be assigned to a specific leadership team member, who would oversee the implementation between sessions.

By framing AI in this manner, we keep the technology grounded in practical business results. We ensure that every automation effort is directly aligned with your core goals and designed to increase your overall operational capacity. This keeps our sessions highly focused and productive, while systematically building an AI-powered operation.
