Implementing EOS® requires a real investment of time, and trying to hide that fact only leads to failure. During the first ninety days, your leadership team must commit to three full-day sessions with me: Focus Day, Vision Building 1, and Vision Building 2. These are intense, eight-hour days where your entire leadership team must be fully present in the room, with phones off and daily operations delegated. Outside of these session days, your team will transition to the Level 10 Meeting™ cadence, which requires ninety minutes every single week. For the Integrator, there is additional work. The Integrator must spend about two to three hours per week organizing the team, managing the Scorecard, and ensuring that Rocks are moving forward. The Visionary must dedicate time to high-level strategic thinking, relationship building, and aligning with the Integrator. While this sounds like a heavy lift, this operating system is designed to replace your current, unstructured meetings. You are not adding ninety minutes of meetings to your week; you are replacing hours of unproductive fire-fighting with a single, highly efficient system. If you cannot free up this time, you are not ready to start.
