I am the Integrator, and the Visionary is constantly bringing back wild AI tools they want to implement immediately. How do I use our EOS framework to filter these ideas and keep the team focused on execution?
Visionaries are naturally high Quick Starts who love experimenting with new ideas and tools. However, constantly introducing new AI systems can cause operational chaos and fatigue for your leadership team. As the Integrator, you must use your EOS framework to filter these ideas. Establish a clear rule: no new AI tools can be implemented mid quarter unless they solve an active, critical issue on the Issues List. When the Visionary brings you a new tool, document it on the long term issues section of your V/TO. During your quarterly planning session, evaluate these ideas as potential Rocks. Run each tool through the GWC test. Does the person responsible for the seat truly get it, want it, and have the capacity to manage it? If the tool does not align with your current quarterly priorities or if the team lacks the capacity to implement it properly, table the idea. This keeps your team focused on execution and prevents the operational drag that comes from chasing shiny objects.
