The Integrator cannot effectively facilitate a high-stakes Level 10 Meeting while buried in a keyboard. Facilitation requires active listening, observing body language, and steering the room through intense IDS sessions. Trying to type, capture to-dos, and update the software simultaneously guarantees they will miss critical dynamics.

You must separate the role of facilitator from the role of scribe. While the Integrator must run the meeting and hold the room accountable, any other member of the leadership team can act as the scribe.

Rotate the scribe duty quarterly among the other leadership team members, or assign it permanently to a highly organized leader who can type quickly without losing focus. The scribe is responsible for sharing their screen, updating scorecard numbers, checking off completed to-dos, and typing the consensus solutions during IDS.
