As the business owner, I am worried my Integrator will feel threatened by having an external implementer come in. How do you work alongside our Integrator during this process?

It is common for an Integrator to feel slightly defensive when an external implementer enters the picture. They may worry that my presence implies they are not doing their job or that I am here to replace them. This is never the case.

My role as your professional EOS® Implementer is to facilitate, teach, and coach. I do not run your business, nor do I make operational decisions. Your Integrator remains the essential leader who runs the day to day operations and holds the team accountable to the corporate vision.

In fact, my involvement actually elevates the Integrator. By providing a structured framework and facilitating our sessions, I take the burden of running the meetings off the Integrator's shoulders. This allows them to fully participate as a peer in the strategic debates rather than worrying about managing the room's energy and timing.

My recommendation is to have an open conversation with your Integrator before our first session. Reassure them that my goal is to make their job easier by giving them a proven operating system to execute the Visionary's ideas. During our sessions, I will actively support the Integrator's authority and help build a stronger partnership between the Visionary and the Integrator.
